When I first began working with Grant everything was wonderful. The quality of the work was fantastic, as well as the... communication. I was very happy. Fast forward a couple years and I never get responses. I also never received half of my request for photos and no update on if they will ever get finished. I email and text multiple times and no response. I even had to push back one of my product launches due to the fact that I didn't receive the product photos. I hate to leave bad reviews, but I think people should be made aware. I feel like I am stuck now. The reason I did not leave 1-star was because the work itself was great. I am so disappointed because I don't know where else to go with my brand.read more

I must say Grant took great photo's and I have to give him credit for that. With that said, I would never return to... this business because from the first call he kept apologizing for the late call and how he wasn’t ready. I sent him information in an email but he did not recall or did not read it.I mailed in my samples and he confirmed receiving them. I asked him to hold on the project because of my logo issue with my manufacturer. Then after 3 weeks I contacted him and we discussed a price and a project completion date. He asked for me to send in a playbook on what I would like to see in the photos and infographic copy writing, so I sent that in and asked for him to send an invoice and preferred way of payment, however I did not hear from him. Then after the due date past (2 weeks) I never received my photos. I kept emailing him if work has started and that I can pay him, but no answer back. 2 weeks turned into 11 weeks of me leaving voicemails and emails. My last email I told him if he wasn’t going to do the job then please at least have the decency to call me back and return my samples. Ordering new samples will take another 3 weeks when this has already been delayed for 11 weeks and I really did not want to waste anymore time. I cc’d his staff members on this email. Then finally he emailed me back, I wish I can attach it here as proof. He was apologetic and offered me a steep discount. I forget what it was but I think it was about 40-50% discount for “all the trouble” as he put it. And he promised to have photos ready by the end of that week.I was so nervous about receiving the photos that took now nearly 3 months and now at a discount. I honestly thought about not taking the discount because I thought he would do a bad job. I never asked for a discount at all. All I asked for was my samples back because he was not communicating for months and he had my samples. Grant must have felt really bad and guilty for what he did for him to offer me without me even asking for a discount and for “all my troubles” He was really apologetic so I tried to give him some grace and understanding. I thought maybe he had a family issue for months. So many thoughts went in my head while waiting to hear back from him.After I received the photos. I was surprised how good they were. I also asked for my samples back and how much I owe him for the Sample shipping, but he emailed back that he will send it for free.I waited 3 weeks then emailed back. I asked if I should pay him to send my sample, but again no response. When you email a business where you are customer I think it is customary to respond. Even if he had emailed saying I’m so sorry by mistake I donated your sample or I changed my mind I would like you to pay for shipping…. Really any kind of communication would be nice. But the problem this company has is the periods of dead communication. This is a deal breaker no matter how good he is as a photographer. I will take my business elsewhere. I emailed him a few weeks ago, and stated that I really like his photos and my experienced amazon colleagues gave good compliments on the photos he took. I told Grant please email me back regarding my samples because I would hate to leave a business a bad review after receiving a discount. But again- no response. Nothing. Like you don’t exist or your an annoyance just for asking to pay for my samples or just information on the status.This has been my experience. I’m sure there have been people with better experience, I hope. I don’t wish this bad experience on anyone especially when you are dealing with an Amazon launch date and only thing holding you up are photos. I hope this review was helpful.read more
